Resetting a Hospitality Brand’s Social Identity

Heritage Resorts, a cornerstone of premium hospitality in Mauritius, faced a fragmented social presence. Across its properties, the feed undersold the brand: tone was inconsistent, captions lacked impact, and content failed to reflect either the guest experience or the group’s price positioning.

The audit confirmed that the issue was not a lack of assets but a lack of alignment. The voice online did not match the sophistication of the on-property experience, leaving a disconnect between brand promise and digital presence. Visuals dominated but offered little narrative, creating fatigue rather than differentiation. And because each resort operated in isolation, the group’s greatest strength – its “playground of experiences” was diluted rather than amplified.

Liaison delivered a brand-wide reset of Heritage’s social media identity. We calibrated the tone of voice for each property, ensuring distinct positioning without losing cohesion at the portfolio level. Caption frameworks were rebuilt around emotional hooks, clear USPs, and engagement triggers, while reel guidelines shifted the focus from surface visuals to mood-led storytelling. Community management protocols were redefined around authenticity, speed, and recognition, transforming interactions into meaningful brand moments. Most importantly, we introduced a cross-property narrative that unified the ecosystem and reinforced Heritage’s positioning as a playground of premium experiences.
